Bayer International Fellowship Programme 2015/2016

This is an open invitation for research students and young professionals to participate in the International Fellowship Programme of the Bayer Science & Education Foundation.

The programme supports extraordinarily gifted talents in order to help them realize individual study and research projects abroad. Scholarships are granted exclusively to students from German-speaking countries wishing to study abroad, or to foreign students who are interested in a study project in Germany. A total budget of EUR 350,000 has been set aside for this programme.


The application window 2015/2016 is now open and applications will be received until July 10, 2015. PS: The Foundation Fellowship also offers individual financial support for international talents (students up to PhD level, young professionals up to 2ys after graduation) who come from abroad to Germany for an individual project in the following areas:

•         Biotechnology, Bio-Engineering, Bio-Informatics
•         Chemistry, Bio-Chemistry
•         Medicinal Sciences, Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Public Health
•         Agricultural Sciences, Agronomy, Green Biotechnology
•         STEM Education (science teachers in biology or chemistry)

Further selection criteria include good study grades, a concrete project plan and a passion for progress.
